Abstract:
The present invention provides therapeutic liposomes and methods for producing and using the same. In particular, therapeutic liposomes of the invention comprise phospholipids comprising C-Cfatty acid ester moieties. In some embodiments, these therapeutic liposomes are used in assisting delivery of an active compound, e.g., a drug and/or a nutraceutical, to a subject. In some embodiments, compositions of the invention have synergistic therapeutic effect.
