Philosophy:
I have extensive training in basic neuroscience and psychopharmacology as well as insight oriented, cognitive behavioral, and supportive psychotherapy. I believe in using medications for psychiatric conditions judiciously- the lowest effective dose and least number of medications necessary to relieve suffering. I pay close attention to side effects and the interactions between medications. I listen closely to my patients and formulate treatment in a mutually respectful, collaborative fashion.
