I believe the counselor and the client relationship is collaborative and is enhanced when clients work between sessions. Developing the skills to be self-sufficient provides clients with tools to improve their quality of life and maintain healthy relationships. My training includes a variety of approaches: family systems, cognitive behavioral, solution focused, behavior intervention and school support, client centered, and creative techniques that are nonverbal forms of psychotherapy.
