MEND has begun the construction of a Low Income Housing Tax Credit development at the former Springside Elementary School on Route 541 in Burlington Township in October. The existing building together with a new addition will provide 74 new apartments for the low and moderate income elderly and non-elderly adults in need of supportive services. The building will be ready for occupancy in late Fall 2013.

Governor Christie has appointed me to serve on the newly created Interagency Council on Homelessness co-chaired by the Commissioners of the Department of Human Services and the Department of Community Affairs. MEND's Medford Senior Residence was selected by Affordable Housing Finance magazine as one of the 4 best new senior housing developments in the nation, 2010-2011. PlanSmartNJ selected MEND/Matt Reilly for its 2011 Regional Equity Achievement Award for Leadership in Affordable Housing Development at PlanSmart's Annual Awards Dinner at the New Brunswick Hyatt Regency in November 2011. MEND's 104-unit housing development in Evesham, NJ was the recipient of the Governor's Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing.
