Philosophy:
I have a special interest in patients with melanoma, soft tissue sarcoma, and other aggressive skin and soft tissue malignancies such as Merkel cell carcinoma.
I have recently conducted a clinical trial evaluating the utility of PET scanning in the managment of patients wtih high-risk melanoma. In addition, I helped develop MSKCC's program in sentinel lymph node mapping for patients with melanoma. I am currently conducting a phase II trial evaluating the safety and effectiveness of a minimally invasive method to deliver regional chemotherapy to patients with advanced or recurrent melanoma or soft tissue sarcoma.
