Abstract:
A method according to one embodiment includes providing access to a representation of a real world item to an avatar in a virtual world based on a real world transaction involving a user associated with the avatar. Abstract:
Systems and methods for displaying blade chassis data are provided. One system includes a memory for storing computer code comprising a blade chassis information module and a processor capable of being in communication with a blade chassis. The processor, when executing the computer code comprising the blade chassis information module, is configured to receive the blade chassis data, create a user interface for the blade chassis data, and display the blade chassis data on the user interface. Abstract:
Provided are a computer program product, system, and method promoting products in a virtual world. An association of product information for a product with a texture of an object assigned to the advertising user is provided for an advertising user. The product information with the texture of the object is rendered to be observable by interacting users in the virtual world when the texture of the object presenting the product information is within an observable range of avatars of the interacting users. Tracking information is updated for the advertising user in response to the texture of the object presenting the product information being within the observable range of the avatars of the interacting users. The tracking information generated for the advertising user is provided for use in determining rewards to assign to the advertising user for promoting the product.

Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a method comprises generating a slider having end values and receiving designation of a range between the end values, or including no more than one of the end values, using controls on the slider. Also, the method includes receiving designation of a subrange within the designated range using the controls on the slider and updating the slider control in response to the receiving steps. In addition, the method includes outputting a digital signal to a graphical display device for graphically depicting the controls of the slider at ends of the range and subrange. Also presented in other embodiments are a computer program product and a system operable to output a slider.
