After traveling internationally for work I decided to stay closer to home and become involved with real estate. The biggest lesson that I learned is that it isn't the market nor the people working in real estate that I need to worry about. There will always be buyers and sellers and as long as I keep this focus the trends and ups and downs of real estate don't bother me.<br /><br />I have enjoyed being actively involved in the local Board of REALTORS as a chair for the Education Committee helping provide affordable and timely continuing education to the local agents. I have also had the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors and to be elected the President of the Board 2013 and I will serve again in 2015 as President.
