<p>I was born in Lisbon, Portugal and came to the United States as a young man. Within a year I became a US citizen. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Boston University, Boston, MA and my MBA from Hartford University, Hartford, CT and Paris, France.</p><p>My first job was as an architectural apprentice in Lisbon. After graduating college, I was a business analyst at Bank of Boston. Following my MBA, I started my own international business that focused on marketing & selling architectural & engineering software. I traveled the world and conducted business in five languages.</p><p>After selling my business, I wanted to concentrate on real estate sales and development. My real estate career started at Re/Max and I started House & Garden Real Estate in 2004 in Cambridge, MA. Our successful track record is in residential and commercial sales in the Greater Boston area. We have built excellent relationships with the banking community, attorneys, architects, realtors, suppliers and subcontractors.</p><p>As a successful "hands-on" developer, I have been involved in all aspects of each project. Some of my areas of expertise are custom financing and acquisitions, budgeting, city liaison, development management and energy code compliance. In 2010, one of my projects was used as a model by the Environmental Protection Agency to help builders and developers understand and follow government energy efficient guidelines.</p><p>I live in Cambridge, MA with my wife and four children aged 11-18.</p>
