Balanced Ac Correlator System

Balanced Ac Correlator System

US Patent:
4110833, Aug 29, 1978
Filed:
Nov 19, 1976
Appl. No.:
5/743361
Inventors:
Mark R. Williams - West Melbourne FL
Gayle P. Martin - Indialantic FL
Assignee:
The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Air
Force - Washington DC
International Classification:
G06G 719, H04B 112
US Classification:
364819
Abstract:
A system having a pair of input signals, one of which is modulated and transformed into a pair of signals phased 180. degree. apart. These signals are acted on by a FET correlator where the second input signal controls the FET gate. Correlator output is amplified and a blocking capacitor removes DC offset, a synchronous switch operated at the modulated frequency converts the remaining AC to DC which is amplified to the output.

Constant Impedance, Constant Phase Pin Diode With Attenuator

Constant Impedance, Constant Phase Pin Diode With Attenuator

US Patent:
4097827, Jun 27, 1978
Filed:
Feb 4, 1977
Appl. No.:
5/765711
Inventors:
Mark R. Williams - West Melbourne FL
Assignee:
The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Air
Force - Washington DC
International Classification:
H03H 724
US Classification:
333 81R
Abstract:
A constant impedance, constant phase PIN diode attenuator uses PIN diodes in a double pi configuration. A control voltage is applied simultaneously thereto thus attaining 40 dB attenuation without substantially varying phase and amplitude characteristics.
