Philosophy:
www.HoustonEyeDoctorVital.com
My team and I handle eye issues ranging from general, routine ophthalmology to complex cataract, cornea, and anterior segment diseases of the eye.
Each of my team members has extensive training and experience in their respective areas of responsibility. I feel that one of the first and most important steps in improving and maintaining ocular health is educating my patients about their ocular condition.
Understanding the problem is often half of the solution. We frequently show illustrative eye videos like those you will find on this website and give informational handouts in clinic to help empower our patients.
We commonly see and treat patients with blurred vision, dry eyes, painful eyes, red eyes, cataracts, conjunctivitis, pterygia, corneal infections, corneal scars, keratoconus, and corneal dystrophies such as FuchsâÂÂ. I perform cataract surgery, corneal surgery, and other anterior segment surgeries on a regular basis. Although I enjoy performing eye surgery, most of my efforts are focused on finding solutions so that patients wonâÂÂt need it.
My philosophy for the practice of ophthalmology is to deliver quality medical and surgical interventions, when medically necessary, on an individualized basis, that help to preserve and improve ocular and general health. I strive to protect and improve the way my patientsâ eyes see, feel, and look.
