Philosophy:
Dr. Gafanovich believes in an integrated and humanistic approach to primary care. She believes in treating the patient rather than the disease. All too often, the patients feelings, beliefs, and lifestyles are not taken into consideration when creating treatment plans. Dr. Gafanovich works with the patient to create a treatment plan that takes all of these things into consideration. She wants patients to understand the tremendous healing potential that they have within themselves, and believes that a physician-patient relationship begins with open and honest communication. When she reviews test results or the recommendations of consulting physicians, she does so as a partner in the process.
Dr. Gafanovich is one of just a few board-certified primary care physicians affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan that accept major insurances. Dr. Gafanovich respects your time and guarantees that you will never wait more than 15 minutes to get in the exam room.
