Marie Plawski is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic in CT where she obtained a doctorate in Chiropractic. She also attended the University of Bridgeport and obtained her M.S in Nutrition. She has practiced in the White Plains/Hartsdale area as well as Connecticut area for over 15 years. Prior to becoming a chiropractor Dr. Plawski had a B.S in Computer Information Systems and worked as a System's Engineer. She realized that her talents lied with working and helping people she decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic. Dr. Plawski worked in Sport Medicine & Rehabilitation Clinics early as student and focused on the incorporating the use chiropractic and physical therapy techniques through out her career. She believes that having good technical chiropractic skills as well as having a talent for soft-tissue/muscle techniques is imperative. Having strong diagnostic criteria is key to the patient's successful treatment plan and getting the best results possible for every patient. Dr. Plawski is a avid tennis player, runner and biker who practices what she preachers.She treats many athletic injuries Eating right and maintaining a balanced exercise program is what she instills in her lifestyle and brings that philosophy to her patients. Dr. Plawski treats all ages and many injuries ranging from disc herniation, shoulder, neck and back pain to plantar fascitis of the foot. She has worked with many athletes, seniors and young adults in resolving their pain and injuries. Her mission is not only to relieve pain syndromes but to educate on preventing injuries and to further promote a healthy lifestyle.
