Philosophy:

Dr. Tella is an Orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive and arthoscopic techniques to address musculoskeletal pathology. He has particular interest in shoulder and knee arthroscopy and reconstruction. Dr. Tella takes a team-based multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Although he has dedicated himself to employing the latest surgical techniques, he understands the significant role of nonsurgical treatment in the care of patients. Following medical school and residency in Orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Tella underwent additional training in sports medicine, the management of athletic related injuries, and arthroscopic surgery, During his time at Stanford Universtiy, he served as a team physician for the San Francisco 49rs and Stanford Athletics. Dr. Tella grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and loves to spend his free time outdoors, especially biking, hiking and playing tennis.
