As leader of the Bone Marrow Transplantation service at Mount Sinai, I promote clinical and translational research on bone marrow transplantation. I have developed several protocols including non-ablative conditioning for allogeneic transplantation, the use of immunomagnetic technology for stem cell selection in haplo-mismatched transplantation and a combination of these two approaches for unrelated transplantation in older adults.
