Philosophy:
Dr. Digiovanni takes a personal interest in each individual patient. He understands that similar orthopaedic problems may require very different treatment from one patient to the next based on the unique needs, expectations, lifestyle, and desires of the individual. In each circumstance he will explain in detail to the patient what the diagnosis in and what treatment options are available. In most cases nonoperative management including physical therapy, exercise, medication, lifestyle and work place modification can be beneficial. He encourages patients to ask questions and enjoys an open dialogue with each person. The more each patient is educated about their particular condition and is an active participant in their chosen course of treatment the better their outcome will be. Dr. DiGiovanni is thankful for the trust patients have placed in him and considers it a privilege to be given the opportunity to care for them.
