Dr. Christman practices general medical dermatology including skin cancer detection examinations, the treatment of other common conditions including acne, rashes, warts, and removal of benign cosmetic lesions.
She has a special interest in prevention, early detection, management, and patient education of malignant melanoma, atypical moles, nonmelanoma skin cancer, and precancerous actinic keratoses. She coordinates patient care with skilled, trusted, local plastic surgeons and fellowship-trained MOHS surgeons for treatment of more difficult nonmelanoma skin cancers. For the treatment of invasive malignant melanoma, the doctor refers primarily to university-affiliated surgical oncologists.
Cosmetic dermatological services will primarily be limited to removal of benign cosmetic lesions and providing advice on addressing photodamage.
