Recipient of American Heart Association Award in Cerebrovascular Research in 1985 when I was rotating through the Massachusetts General Hospital's Neurosurgery Service. Recipient of Clinician Research Grant to study the Effects of Subarachnoid Hemorrhage after a Ruptured Cerebral Brain Aneurym regarding the hypothalamic response and neurohormones. Recipient of Florida Statewide Award for Compassionate and Competent Medical Doctor at the West Palm Beach Veteran's Hospital in 2005. Selected for Administrative Training and Fast Track Program by my colleagues and superiors at the WPB VA Hospital in 2004-2005. Recipient of the Doctor of the Year by Vitas Hospice of Palm Beach in 2006 Winner of First Place in 5K Run in my age category at WPB VA Hospital for years 2004 and 2005.
