<p>When myhusband and I moved to Dorchester in 2005 we were immediately taken with the beautiful architecture, community activism,diversity and open spaces. We both grew up in the seaside town of Duxbury and were eager to be closer to the city for work, but not be too far from our families who still live on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Since then, we've greatlyenjoyed the rich rewards of raising our family in thevibrant and diverse community of Ashmont Hill. My pride and devotion to my community led me to collaborate on a local blog, which chronicled businesses, events and lifestyle in Dorchester.
