Philosophy:
I am board certified in both child and adult psychiatry. What differentiates me from many practitioners is my expertise in 2 treatment modalities: psychotherapy - talk treatment - and psychopharmacology - medication. During my first 11 years in practice, I employed psychotherapy with virtually no medication. Things have changed, and I now consider myself an expert in psychopharmacology. However, I still love doing psychotherapy and always attempt to do what is in the patient?s best interests.
