Philosophy:

As a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst I am in a unique position to understand a patient. I listen carefully to a patient's words and associated emotions. I empathize with the patient and help a patient see from their own words how their minds are working, i.e. what worries and fears seem to be dominant that were not necessilarily obvious to them before. Exploring these helps one understand themselves at a gut level and become more "free" and less anxious,worried or depressed.
