Lawrence R. Volz, M.D., F.A.C.S., is board certified in Urology and Urologic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry with Highest Honors from The Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated “Top of his Class”. He completed two years of General Surgical residency, and four years of Urologic residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before being asked to join Urology of Virginia. Dr. Volz practices with Urology of Virginia, P.C., an independent group of over 30 urologists with offices from Williamsburg to Norfolk, VA. Along with sub-specialization in prostate cancer and benign prostate disease, he heads the prostate brachytherapy center in Williamsburg. He also practices General Urology and deals with other issues such as erectile dysfunction, incontinence and stone disease.
