<p class="MsoNormal">Laura Smith returned to the Allegheny Valley after living in South Florida for thirty years, during which time she was a homemaker and mother of two girls, a spec builder of upscale homes, a Real Estate Broker's assistant, and a volunteer and past president of the Jupiter Tequesta Junior Women's Club in northern Palm Beach County. Laura enjoys writing and some of you may remember her slice-of-life columns in the Valley News Dispatch. Always a gal on the go, Laura obtained her Pennsylvania Real Estate license in 2001, and in 2006 reached her goal of becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker. As a full-time Realtor, she is a member of the National and Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, and is currently serving as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Greater Allegheny-Kiski Area Board of Realtors. She is also an Allegheny County Assessment Appeals Hearing Officer on an as-need basis.
