My philosophy tends to be rooted in the belief that people are naturally motivated to improve themselves and my role is to help them reach their goals, learn about him/herself, and to improve the quality of their lives. One of the ways I can help it to highlight ambivalence. In other words, whenever someone goes about implementing changes in his/her life, it is hard to do and you may have mixed feelings about it. Despite best intentions and hard work, there is often internal conflict and reasons why you may have done things the way you did before. As a result, it can help to clarify these internal conflicts, allowing you to make informed decisions about your behaviors and your life. The ultimate goal for some people is to determine what you really want and how to align yourself with that in daily life.
