Abstract:
A portable, convenient scent dispenser and method of operation allows the user to quickly change scents used therein as desired while hunting. A scent receptacle mounted in the lower end of a cylindrical housing is removable for replacing or exchanging scented materials. The scent dispenser provides a cylindrically-shaped housing having a removable cap containing microcontrolled electrical circuitry which includes mode indicators and a select switch. The lower body of the housing contains a battery assembly and an electric fan. The scent dispenser can be manually, selectively operated in a variety of modes to allow the fan to run continuously, cyclically, or cyclically only during daylight hours for economical power consumption.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a scent dispenser comprised of a pair of transparent, telescopingly polymeric sleeves, each of the sleeves defining eight apertures. The apertures are selectively aligned for scent emission in various configurations. Contained within the scent dispenser is a scent producing substance which emits scent which travels through the apertures when appropriately aligned. A system of nubs and projections engage to allow the selective positioning of the sleeves relative to one another.

Abstract:
A scent dispenser including a housing and a hook for suspending the dispenser attached to the housing is provided. The housing includes a pair of aligned openings to draw air through the housing and across a scent receptacle. Battery powered circuitry connects a fan to timer circuitry and to a photo cell for control of the fan during scent dispersion. An LED is provided to indicate the operating status of the device while a toggle switch provides manual on/off control.
