Philosophy:
I am a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon and fellowship trained in Sports Medicine. I graduated from Davidson College where I played football and was captain of the track team. I moved to Asheboro in 2003 in order to be closer to family. I enjoy the down home family oriented atmosphere of this close knit community. Sports Injuries are complicated often involving the shoulder or the knee. When athletes get hurt often their most important concern is how fast they can get back into their game. I am specifically trained to treat these extreme cases. I bring the same expertise to injuries that do not happen on athletic fields. Not everyone gets hurt sacking a quarterback or running a marathon. Sports type injuries can happen any time people are moving raking leaves changing a tire or carrying a toddler. I treat both athletes and non athletes alike using compassionate care and expert skills to return my patients back to full function as quickly as possible.
