Abstract:

A minimally invasive, adjustable cervical collar including a collapsible occipital section. The collar may be placed on a patient requiring immobilization of the neck without moving the patients head or the patients neck. The collar includes an adjustable occipital section and a mandibular support section. The device may be of unitary, one-piece construction or the occipital and mandibular sections may be separate, yet attachable.
