Filed:
Mar 19, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/810094
Inventors:

Abstract:
A four-spikes surgical skin staple is composed of two stems which form a 60 degree angle V-shaped figure and four spikes, which are composed of two identical outer long spikes and two identical inner short spikes. Each of the two identical outer long spikes is fixed at a 60 degree angle to the outer end of each stem and each of the two identical inner short spikes is fixed at a 60 degree angle to the middle of each stem. The two outer long spikes are used to approximate the surgical incision wound and the two inner short spikes are used to stabilize the incision skin edges to prevent the overlapping of the skin edges. With no overlapping of the incision skin edges, the surgical incision wound can heal better and faster.

Magnetic Exercise Tube

US Patent:
2002009, Jul 18, 2002
Filed:
Jan 17, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/765546
Inventors:
Kun-Yuan Tong - Albany GA, US
International Classification:
A63B071/00, A63B001/00, A63B015/02
US Classification:
482/001000, 482/148000
Abstract:
A magnet has a north pole and a south pole. The magnetic force of the north pole of a magnet attracts the south pole of another magnet. The magnetic force of the north pole of a magnet repels the north pole of other magnet. The magnet exercise tube uses the nature of the attractive force and the repelling force of the magnet to create a resistance for exercising muscles. A magnet exercise tube consists of one small inner magnet tube, an in-between separation plastic tube and one larger outer magnet tube to create the resistance for exercising muscles. The larger the magnet exercise tube is, the greater the resistance will be created.
