As an ophthalmologist I understand that undertaking eye surgery can be a scary and intimidating prospect for many patients. My staff and I strive to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and safe in their decision to have surgery, and that they fully understand what is going on and what we will be doing going forward. I believe that the decision to have surgery should be the patient's, and that my job as the doctor is to give them the information they need in order to make that decision.
