Nail Clipper Device

US Patent:
6438845, Aug 27, 2002
Filed:
Jan 16, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/761438
Inventors:
Koock E. Jung - Queensbury NY 12804
International Classification:
A45D 2900
US Classification:
30 29, 30 28
Abstract:
A nail clipper device with a scissors-like cutting configuration comprises elongated upper and lower operating members each having first ends joined together, and second ends terminating in spaced complimentary shaped cutting edges; a post secured to the lower operating member and movably extending through an aperture in the upper member adjacent the cutting edges; a lever member having first and second ends with the first end begin pivotally secured to the post, the upper operating member having an exterior surface with the lever member being superimposed over the upper operating member in a non-operable position; the lever member having a bent portion adjacent the post so the lever member is first pivoted about the axis of the post, and pivoted in over the post to an operating position, the bent portion of the lever will bear against the upper operating member to move the cutting edge. Each cutting edge of the nail clipper device comprises slanted cutting surfaces and complementary cutting adjacent and juxtaposed surfaces that are moved adjacent to each other and in juxtaposed position with each other when the cutting configuration is brought into cutting relationship. The cutting edges define a space and separation distance therebetween with a first separation distance at one side and a second separation at the opposite side.

Animal Waste Collection Device

US Patent:
7093869, Aug 22, 2006
Filed:
Mar 30, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/812633
Inventors:
Koock Jung - Queensbury NY, US
International Classification:
A01K 29/00
US Classification:
294 14
Abstract:
An animal waste collection device allows collection of waste into a bag without soiling a user. The animal waste collection device comprises an elongated handle that comprises an actuator assembly at one end; a pick-up and collection device disposed at the other end of the elongated handle and a pick-up and collection device disposed at an end of the elongated handle from the actuator assembly. The pick-up and collection device comprising movable collection members movably connected to an elongated base member. A linkage is operably connected to the actuator assembly and extends between the actuator assembly and the pick-up and collection device. A transmission element is operably connected to the linkage at the pick-up and collection device and is operably connected to the movable collection members for transmitting movement to move each of the movable collection members between open and closed movable collection members positions. The pick-up and collection device is adapted to receive a bag for receiving and storing animal waste collected by the animal waste collection device.

Ladder Scaffold Device

US Patent:
6244383, Jun 12, 2001
Filed:
Nov 3, 1999
Appl. No.:
9/433401
Inventors:
Koock Elan Jung - Queensbury NY
International Classification:
E06C 716, E04G 502
US Classification:
182121
Abstract:
A ladder scaffold device attaches to a ladder to define a scaffold and work area for a user of the ladder scaffold device. The ladder scaffold device is capable of being inserted into at least one rung of the ladder. The ladder scaffold device comprises a platform; a platform frame, in which the platform frame comprises a first back frame member, a second frame member, first and second side frame members; and a front frame member; and a plurality of support members. The plurality of support members comprises platform support members and additional support members, in which the platform support members are capable of being inserted into a rung of the ladder. The first back frame member extends into a rung of the ladder and the second back frame member extends into the rung of the ladder that the first back frame member extends. Each of the side support members is capable of being connected to one of the first and second back frame members. The front frame member is capable of being connected to the side frame members, and the first back frame member, second frame member, first and second side frame members, and front frame member define a platform frame to support the platform that defines a scaffold and work area for a user of the ladder scaffold device.

Ladder Top Stabilizer Device

US Patent:
6152262, Nov 28, 2000
Filed:
Aug 21, 1999
Appl. No.:
9/379203
Inventors:
Koock E. Jung - Queensbury NY
International Classification:
E06C 7010
US Classification:
182107
Abstract:
A ladder top safety device for a ladder, as embodied by the invention, is applied to a ladder that comprises side rails and a plurality of rungs interconnecting the side rails. The safety device comprises a plurality of side safety supports that are stored in their stored position in one rung of the plurality of rungs at an upper portion of a ladder. The side safety supports are extendible from the one rung to a stabilizing extended position in which the side safety stabilizers are in contact with a vertical supporting surface when a ladder is placed against a wall supporting surface, such as a wall. Thus, the ladder top stabilizer device provides lateral stabilizing support for the ladder.
