Philosophy:
I believe it is important for a patient to understand why a particular treatment or medication is being recommended, but the patient first needs to be educated about the condition for which they are being seen. In my office we place great emphasis on educating the patient about his/her condition. When a patient has a good understanding of this and their plan, he/she is able to proactively make any needed adjustments throughout the year, thus taking an active role in ensuring their wellness.
