Abstract:
A manually operable circuit breaker is provided with a spring powered trip-free contact operating mechanism. A fault current responsive thermal-magnetic automatic trip means is included as in an auxiliary means for operation of the circuit breaker from a remote location. Both the auxiliary means and the operating mechanism operate to open and close the same set of contacts.
