Over the years, I have purchased six homes (five rentals and one I live in). It is amazing how little I knew about how a complex real estatetransaction works when I first started real estate. I am bound by a code of ethics to provide excellence to clients, other real estate agents, and the local community.<br/><br/>In 2010, Ireceived my CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation. A designation is like a masters degree in the real estate world. Foreclosures and short sales plague our current real estate market. This intense training in distressed properties gives me the edge when I represent clients during these challenging transactions.<br/><br/>In 2012, I received my CIAS (Certified Investor Agent Specialist) designation.Most people have a bad opinion of investors. But personally I feel that investors will get us out of this housing crisis.Investors purchase abandoned properties and turn them into rentals. They also tackle properties that are in suchpoor condition thatbanks won't fund loans for their purchase.<br/><br/>I am also a Zillow Premier Agent. When clients list their home for sale with me, their listing automatically shows up at the top of the search results for buyers looking for homes.
