Devised and implemented a method to repair stainless steel fittings completely fouled with aluminum (due to electrostatic corrosion) chronically affecting the LOX trailer fleet. Returning 8 trailers to full service that otherwise would have required special procurement and a 9 to 15 month delay to source new parts. In returning the original plumbing parts to service a cost savings of $18,000 was also realized.
