I worked in sales/marketing for a local manufacturing company in Manheim ftom 1994-2000. I worked my sales/marketing job fulltime and started working part time evenings as a Resident Care Assistant at Masonic Homes. I decided I preferred working LTC and took CNA classes. I quit my fulltime office job to work in LTC. In 2005 I graduated from LCTC LPN program and immediately started clases for RN which I graduated from Excelsior College in 2011. I have been in LTC since 2000. I started at slowly and worked myself up and consider the experience invaluable. I feel it makes me a better nurse.
