I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between myself and the client. My role is to assist the client to identify sources of pain and the road blocks to happiness. While therapy is designed to be helpful it may at times be difficult and uncomfortable. While I can guide the client, the client is ultimately responsible for change to occur. My therapeutic style is to create a safe environment to explore painful emotions and relationships.
