As a family practitioner, we focus on treating the health and wellness of the entire family, from the newborn to the adolescent to the parent. Our practice believes in treating the child with the family involved for cohesive decision making. We feel this is best done through family and physician communication, education and follow-up. The doctor should not solely tell a patient what to do but involve the patient in their own decisions. We believe in the patient taking a lead role for their health care, including knowing their disease, medications they take, and how they can work toward a healthier lifestyle. Life is a journey and we, as the physician, are there to help patients strive toward a healthier lifestyle and better quality of life.
