Dr. Ramaswamy serves as medical director of the Arrhythmia Center and director of the Electrophysiology Lab at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. A native of New Orleans, LA, Dr. Ramaswamy is an electrophysiologist, a cardiologist that specializes in the care and treatment of rhythm issues of the heart. Fellowship trained in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, he joined Missouri Baptist Medical Center in 2011 because of the hospital’s reputation as a cardiac leader and dedication to cardiac excellence. He is a pioneer in the use of cryoablation and a nationally recognized expert in the Stereotaxis Magnetic Navigation system. He was the first in the world to perform a bidirectional transatlantic live case demonstration with this technology and was among the first to demonstrate the technology’s advantages of reducing radiation exposure and improving safety for patients undergoing catheter ablation.
