Philosophy:
We strive to be a physician practice dedicated to state-of-the-art care for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. We perform most endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD), ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and are skilled in the therapeutic maneuvers associated with each.
Dr. Cesario completed her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and then returned to her native Denver to attend medical school at the University of Colorado. She stayed on at the University of Colorado to complete her Internal Medicine residency and graduated in 2003. Dr. Cesario then moved to Ohio to complete her Gastroenterology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. After receiving a prestigious 2006 American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Advanced Fellowship, she spent an additional year at the Cleveland Clinic studying Clinical Hepatology and Liver Transplantation. She was board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology in 2006 and received her Transplant Hepatology Certification in 2008.
Dr. Cesario has received several research grants and authored multiple publications, predominantly in the area of hepatitis C. She is an active member of the AASLD, the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Liver Foundation (ALF). Her clinical interests include viral hepatitis and complications of liver cirrhosis. Her personal interests include hiking, skiing and spending time with her husband and their three children.
