Karen D. East, MD earned her BA degree in chemistry from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and her medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. She served her internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, and was a clinical instructor at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She joined St. Luke's Internal Medicine in 2002 and is a diplomate of the American Board of Medicine.
