Philosophy:
Although I work with all kinds of clients, my primary specialty is with children who struggle with behavioral and/or emotional problems, using playful and positive means to help them with anger management, social skills, expression of feelings, and relationships with friends and family.
Play therapy is the treatment of choice for young children and is something at which I am particularly skilled. Children tend to feel immediately comfortable with my natural, playful style. The parents I work with particularly value my direct but caring approach in helping them with children that have difficult behavioral problems. I have taught parenting classes and classes related to divorce and communication as well. My office has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere; no heavy analysis setting here.
