Hospice Volunteer, reading.

I have 3 adult children, my daughter is my RE/MAX Licensed Assistant. I work 7 days a week, joking at saying I now only work half days, 9a.m. to 9 p.m. <br />I enjoy helping in the Hospice Program, knowing I have made a difference by spending time with the client on their final journey. I listen and somtimes, they really need someone to talk to that is not a family member who could have their feelings hurt. <br />I also have other people I visit at nursing homes that have been clients of mine, or not, and visit, take in baked goods, and one man I try to keep in reading material. He reads 100 pages a day.and loves mysteries. He had never been a reader before, and at 90, telling me he read the newspaper 3 times that day, I said what if I bring you some books. No, I don't read, but I took the books and now I have to keep a running inventory of books he has read, because at 94, he remembers. <br />My other 2 children, my oldest son has a grocery store, and my younger son is a building contractor.
