I will explain my skills gathered in two groups, software and hardware: sotfware: I have knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Professional package, that includes Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.. I have worked with professional packages for processing and statistical inferences like SPSS for Windows in different versions in Spanish and in English. As part of work in the research center, I was developing some software for process optimization in business as a designer, this work can be seen in the center's Web www.ceia.uo.edu.cu I dominate many of the existing operating systems, this includes, MS-DOS, Windows in all its versions, and some Linux distributions like RedHat, KANOPIX, Ubuntu and others. On these operating systems I can make all programs facilities necessary for the proper functioning of computers, this includes antivirus, office tools, programs for maintenance of hard disks and other resources. I have knowledge of the use and management of networks and the creation of domains and subdomains for enterprise use, installation of servers and computer security. I can operate networks that may be of wireless telephone or fiber optic cable. Within the world of network hacking skills I have many softwares which may have used mainly to prevent pirate attacks. I have worked with dissimilar programs for editing photos and video, although I am not an expert in that field if you know its use and operation. Hardware I have knowledge to arm and disarm any type of computer, perform maintenance, repairs, installations of all kinds of hardware and detect malfunctions, this includes, desktops, servers, laptops, printers and other peripheral accessories either input or output and all the components that are inside (memory ram, hard disk, motherboard, etc). All this lets me know what are the best computers for different uses to which they can give and so more efficiently exploit the resources.

Multi-Participant Audio/Video Communication With Participant Role Indicator

US Patent:
2012020, Aug 16, 2012
Filed:
Apr 18, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/450457
Inventors:
Luis A. Garcia - Austin TX, US
Jose Luis Lopez - Austin TX, US
Jorge A. Rasillo - Round Rock TX, US
Francisco J. Alanis - Cedar Park TX, US
Maria Garza - Austin TX, US
Edgar O. Cantu - Round Rock TX, US
Assignee:
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION - Armonk NY
International Classification:
H04N 7/14
US Classification:
348 1401, 348E07078
Abstract:
An audio/video communication method displays the status of participants in a video chat session. The method employs multiple video chat capable (VCC) information handling systems (IHSs) that display video images of the participants. In this manner, each user may see the user's own video image as well as the video images of other users in the video chat session. When a user speaks, that user's VCC IHS detects audio, thus designating a speaker participant. This user's VCC IHS includes a gaze direction detector that determines at which particular user video image the user gazes, thus determining a target participant. The VCC IHS sends speaker participant ID information and target participant ID information to other VCC IHSs in the video chat session. In response, the other VCC IHSs display an indicator that designates one user video image as the speaker participant and another user video image as the target participant.
