After 11 years of medical practice as a member of a large GI group in Marietta, I branched out on my own to provide more focused and personal gastrointestinal care at a more relaxed pace. Recent Medical Studies have shown that there's a 10 fold difference between equally well trained gastroenterologist at finding and removing polyps (precancerous growths in the colon) at screening colonoscopy. The difference is finding a doctor who doesn't pack his schedule, and is willing to take the time necessary to perform a careful, thorough colonoscopy.
