Dr. Conti received a BA in Psychology as well as a BS in Biology from UC Irvine, his MD from Wayne State University in Michigan, and finally completed his pediatric residency from the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in 2001. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and has extensive experience in acute care. During our visits together, I make an effort to share knowledge and educate families rather than merely cure problems. By practicing this form of prevention, families are less reliant upon the doctor to treat avoidable problems and thus have more control over their children's well being. In these ways and more, I believe that the doctor and family partner to serve the best interests of the child. Moreover, I strive to make each visit fun for the child. For me, I have found that a critical skill is to truly listen to what my families say, or don't say, especially to the most important question I pose at the end of the visit: Is there anything else?
