Activities with Presbyterian Church of Westfield (NJ):
• Deacon-duties include; home bound communion, flower deliveries, hospital visitation & serve on commissions,
• Adult advisor on High School Mission Trips to Guatemala and Iowa. These were each 1 week long & included 75-80 boys and girls,
• Served meals at Middle School Fellowship meetings,
• Prepared meals for Agape Soup Kitchen. This program serves approximately 300 meals to the homeless in downtown Elizabeth (NJ) every Wed evening throughout the year.
Activities with Boy Scouts of America;
• Past Scoutmaster (Troop 72, Westfield NJ),
• Currently Assistant Scoutmaster & Troop Treasurer,
• Adult advisor on 2-14 day, 80 mile backpacking treks at Philmont, NM,
• Summer Camp Director (3 times), camping on an island in Ontario, Canada,
• Adult advisor on other BSA High Adventure activities including; hiking in the White Mtn’s of NH, sailing in the Florida Keys and skiing in the Canadian Rockies.
