I am an Interventional Radiologist. We use imaging (ultrasound, CT, X-ray) to guide procedures that are performed through tiny nicks in your skin. Interventional Radiology is the cutting edge of medicine, without the cutting! Most people do not think that radiologists see patients in clinic. But Interventional Radiologists are the exception. Not only do I have a clinic, I will spend as much time with you during our clinic visits as it takes for you to feel you have the information you need to decide if my approach is right for you. Most of my patients are taken aback by how unpressured they feel in my clinic. This is in part because of my approach to medicine, but also because my livelihood does not depend on getting patients in and out as fast as possible. In my practice my income depends only on doing a quality job, not a speedy job. That is a rarity in medicine these days.
