MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA, June 20, 2013, John D. Wagner, Senior Vice President of Amedisys, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who’s Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.
In his executive leadership role, Mr. Wagner manages home health, hospice and palliative care services for the Northeast operations of Amedisys, a Fortune 1000 company with one of the largest market caps in the industry, including its 92 care centers in 11 states. The company is the largest home health organization, and the fourth largest hospice in the country. Mr. Wagner’s responsibilities have been expanded to include managing the home health, hospice and palliative care services for the Northeast operations at Amedisys. He is also in charge of leading business and clinical operations, budgeting, and developing new programs.
In his current capacity, Mr. Wagner oversees all leadership aspects of providing the highest quality health care. He ensures the ongoing growth and development of the company, as well as continuing clinical excellence and regulatory compliance. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Mr. Wagner feels that he has been able to thrive professionally due to hard work, and his education and years of experience.
Mr. Wagner earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University. He has since remained abreast of trends and developments in his field as a member of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Home Care and Hospice Executives, and Hospice and Home Care Agency Best Practices.
