Abstract:
Centrally mounted in a strain decoupling fashion on a hydraulic torque wrench is a hose connect swivel. A base ring of the swivel features a first fluid transmitting joint that is fluid transmitting connected with axial studs extending from the base ring into mating holes in the torque wrench housing. The base ring is radially spaced apart and surrounding a central housing portion of the torque wrench. The radial spacing provides for a strain and deformation decoupling of the base ring from the torque wrench housing such that leakage in the fluid first transmitting joint is prevented. A second fluid transmitting joint provides together with the perpendicular first fluid transmitting joint for a three dimensional orienting of the hose connect terminal around the torque wrench housing while providing access to the piston side peripheral end of the torque wrench housing for an eventual reaction arm.

Abstract:
A reinforcement bracket is provided for buckling and shearing opposing support of a wooden I-joist. The reinforcement bracket may have two substantially parallel bridging structures combined by a spacing structure while providing a central contour recess. In the case where a hole is cut into a wooden I-joist in size and/or at a location exceeding the I-joist's safety standards, the reinforcement bracket may be laterally attached to the I-joist such that both bridging structures flank the cut hole while the cut hole remains accessible due to the central contour recess. The central recess contour provides thereby for a simple attachment at a construction site irrespective an eventual pipe or the like protruding through the cut hole. The reinforcement bracket is preferably monolithically fabricated from sheet metal and scaled in conjunction with dimensional standards of commercially available wooden I-joists.

An arbor system includes an arbor, a hole saw, a tightening feature and a tubular wrench. The arbor has a arbor coupling. A clamp body of the hole saw is sandwiched between the arbor coupling and the tightening feature in a pressed contact that is fully form fitting. Operational tilt and load torque are transmitted without affecting the tight-screwed interlocking between thread and tightening feature. Operational cutting vibrations are reduced by increased press contact facilitated by the tubular wrench that axially accesses the tightening feature from a direction opposite the power drill. The tubular wrench provides clearance to the pivot drill and the hole saw and safe handling protected against the hole saw's cutting teeth. A hole saw for cutting standardized holes in the web portion of an I-joist features a light weight saw body having a flywheel configuration and preferably three inserted cutting blades fixed within clamp cavities in an offset to the circumference, which is dimensioned in accordance to standard web heights.
