Philosophy:
Dr. Taras specializes in treating injuries and afflictions of the hand and upper extremity. Dr. Taras is well-known for his expertise in flexor tendon reconstruction, nerve reconstruction, distal radius fracture repair, and management of hand and upper extremity injuries. His research has led to the development of new suture techniques to repair tendon injuries, and he has pioneered the use of regeneration tubes and grafts to repair nerve lacerations.
