Plane Surface Position Locator

Plane Surface Position Locator

US Patent:
2006005, Mar 23, 2006
Filed:
Sep 20, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/711465
Inventors:
John Feemster - Saratoga CA, US
International Classification:
G01B 3/14
US Classification:
033562000
Abstract:
This patent is for a system for marking on large surface materials that aids in the material use and application where fasteners are applied through the surface, other materials are attached to the surface, or the large surface material is to be cut into a smaller parts. The markings are a coordinate pattern or patterns that can be attached to, printed on, or overlaid on a surface such that the markings give a visual surface location reference which aids in surface material applications. In operation the location marking(s) show relative location places where a fastener may be applied, another material may be placed, or a cutting plane may be done more accurately. The markings may be precise for a specific application or relative from surface edge-to-edge or/and top to bottom according to the material use. The marking(s) assist a visual surface location especially when the material surface is large and/or obscures associated materials behind the large surface used in conjunction with the larger surface material. Further, tools for marking large surfaces either are not readily available, are costly, or time consuming to apply when working with large surface area materials. The marking system gives easier, visual attachment accuracy, increases speed in material or fastener application for structural design integrity, or/and assists in the location of a cutting line when an application requires only a portion of the large surface material.

Wheel And Tire Visual Safety Spots

Wheel And Tire Visual Safety Spots

US Patent:
2006016, Jul 27, 2006
Filed:
Jan 26, 2005
Appl. No.:
10/905921
Inventors:
John Feemster - Saratoga CA, US
International Classification:
G02B 5/12
US Classification:
359524000
Abstract:
A movement-indicating vehicle tire includes a tire body of some color, having a tread and a pair of opposed sidewalls, and a contrasting colored safety spot located on the tire body. In a specific embodiment the safety spot is located on the tire tread. In another specific embodiment, the safety spot is located on a tire sidewall. In another embodiment a vehicle wheel has a rim, an outwardly facing surface of some color, and a contrasting colored safety spot located on the outwardly facing surface. Rotation of the tire and wheel causes the safety spot to provide visual indication of vehicle movement.

Building Design Analyzer

Building Design Analyzer

US Patent:
2003001, Jan 16, 2003
Filed:
Jul 31, 2002
Appl. No.:
10/064629
Inventors:
Calvin Phillips - San Jose CA, US
John Feemster - Saratoga CA, US
Assignee:
Mr. Calvin Edward Phillips
International Classification:
G06F017/50
US Classification:
703/001000
Abstract:
A computer software program with the process capability to do component structure stress and deflection analysis for beams, joists, rafters, shear walls, and foundations as well as determine the suitability of a structure to withstand wind and seismic forces. A program that has the process capability to determine composite weights of floors, walls, ceilings, and roofs. A software program process that does structural analysis using many different common building materials providing results that show marginal analysis compared to standard allowable parameters, provides a feature to avoid errors in the material properties selected for a structure, and is further formulated to print and/or save the analysis information in a data base file.
